TMC Adaptations is the parent company that holds together my multiple endeavors and products that are in varying stages of development.
I am a pediatric Occupational Therapist and tend to create problem solving things in my job and at home. This site pulls together all of my many different creations. As a therapist I make adaptive equipment to make it easier for my clients to do what they need to do. My foray into the world of inventing as a job began when I created the Hug n Hold (which was originally called the Change-eze). The Hug n Hold was first created for my son when he was 1 year old, and he considered escaping from diaper changing to be a sport. I made a strap to keep him in place so that I could control his shoulders while I changed his diaper. It worked well for him, so I worked on bringing it to market. That first foray was not profitable, but I learned a lot, and I have many ideas in my head that wanted to come out, so I kept creating.
As a pediatric Occupational Therapist, I enjoy solving problems and making/creating items that help to solve those problems. You can find many of my products here, but you can get many more ideas at Therapy Fun Zone where I post about creative and fun therapy activities.
You can visit my therapy activity site at Therapy Fun Zone. I have therapy products that are always being created.
